About SCA:
Silver Crescent Academy is a faith, community based educational institute. SCA has been established since 2009 to serve the HRM community, Nova Scotia. It is founded, directed and managed by women.
SCA provides multi-faceted services including and not limited to:
- Fully licenced Childcare (subsidised)
- Training /workshops (all ages)
- ESL (Teaching English as a second language)
- Academic Tutoring
- Arabic/ Quran Programs
- Youth Camps
- Community outreach events and programs

A message from our CEO:
Silver Crescent Academy and the staff are excited for the reopening of the SCA Children Center on June 15th, 2020. We have developed a COVID-19 Prevention Plan based on the provided Guidelines and acknowledges the developmental needs, mental health, well-being and safety of our children, families and staff.
We are also pleased to inform you that our children Arabic program OME is back. WE ARE GOING ONLINE starting June 15. Lessons are planned based on experiential learning methodology; expect lots of hands-on and interactive activities.
We appreciated your patience during these difficult times and hope for your support and understanding in keeping your children and everyone else safe. As a great sign, we all made it this far and happy to be back as SCA family.
